The beautiful combinations of white with scarlet (dark red) from the middle of the flowers and bright yellow spot in the middle of the labellums make this orchid attractive to the bees, butterflies and/or birds.

Cymbidium aloifolium can produces about 30 small flowers per inflorescence with 4 cm flowers size. It has very thick rigid leaves about 40 cm long. This plant enjoy in light shade positions with high humidity, suitable for growing indoors. It usually blooms in Spring. Easy in cultivation.

The original habitats of Cymbidium aloifolium are Burma, Sri Lanka, Southern China, Java, Sumatra and other countries in Asia.
